r2p delivered an integrated CCTV and remote fleet management solution for 57 new buses operating in Denmark, providing a comprehensive video surveillance infrastructure designed to support safe and efficient public transport operations.
Combining r2p’s Bus IP CCTV system with the Horizon management platform, the project enables reliable onboard monitoring alongside secure, centralised access to vehicle cameras and recorded footage.
Each vehicle features a 7-inch industrial touch monitor, giving drivers an intuitive interface for monitoring and controlling interior and exterior cameras. High-definition IP cameras with robust, weather-resistant housings and infrared night vision ensure dependable surveillance even under challenging operating conditions.
A key advantage of the solution is Horizon Cloud, which enables authorised operators to remotely access vehicles and download recorded footage 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Remote software updates and configuration capabilities further simplify system maintenance and minimise the need for on-site interventions.
By integrating onboard surveillance with intelligent fleet-wide management capabilities, r2p has established a scalable CCTV infrastructure that streamlines daily operations, improves operational oversight and supports a safer, smarter and more connected public transport network.
