Summary
r2p delivered a comprehensive CCTV and fleet management solution for 180 new buses operating in Norway, providing a public transport operator with a reliable and centrally managed video surveillance infrastructure.
The project integrates r2p’s Bus IP CCTV system with the Horizon management platform, combining advanced onboard camera technology with centralised fleet-wide monitoring and remote management capabilities.
Each bus is equipped with a user-friendly 7-inch touch monitor, allowing drivers to access and control interior and exterior cameras. The system incorporates high-definition IP cameras designed to withstand demanding environmental conditions, ensuring dependable surveillance during daily operations.
Through our Horizon Cloud, operators benefit from secure remote access to individual vehicles and recorded footage, as well as simplified system maintenance and software updates. By reducing the need for on-site interventions, the solution supports more efficient fleet management and consistent system performance across all 180 vehicles.
The result is a scalable CCTV infrastructure that enhances operational oversight, streamlines maintenance processes and supports safe and reliable public transport operations.
