We are currently looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) in Australia.

 

This is how You Make a Difference

As a Project Manager (m/f/d) you will lead and execute projects involving the delivery of hardware, software and related services into public transport applications, overseeing project delivery from inception to completion.
This role will include the following tasks:

  • Managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, applying appropriate risk identification and management techniques to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Developing comprehensive project documentation, including detailed plans and schedules in accordance with and using company standards and tools.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and sales.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and coordinating external resources throughout project delivery.
  • Managing project budgets, cash flow, and report on financial performance.
  • Monitoring progress against project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables and report to internal stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations, and company quality processes.
  • Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs by using appropriate verification techniques and defining the resulting change requests (CR).
  • Utilising effective conflict resolution strategies to handle disputes or issues, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and preserving positive partnerships.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, company standards, tools, and customer satisfaction.

 

You are

What You Bring to the Table

  • A tertiary degree, preferably in the field of Engineering or Technology.
  • A project management certification (PMP, AIPM, PRINCE2 or tertiary specialisation).
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Project Manager in the electronics or software industry or as a Systems Engineer in software or electronics engineering.
  • Experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management software (MS Project or similar).
